From the article
The Durbin Amendment to the financial reform bill is the latest government policy proposal that will pad BPs bottom line. The amendment would create a government imposed price control scheme that would shift billions of dollars away from consumer to retailers (British Petroleum, Exxon, WalMart). Thats why the Durbin Amendment is supported by the big retailers like Walmart, Petroleum Marketers Association and other prominent lobbyist groups which are funded, in part, by British Petroleum. The video of protesters being attacked is not much of a big deal, being the work of a single seemingly disturbed individual. I suppose he's the (token) angry black man the press has been looking for, misguidedly doling out an ass-kicking of his own choosing. What a moron. But the larger story about BP, and the Financial Reform Bill is quite troubling to say the least.

I agree. Durbin’s bailout is corrupt and lunatic at the same time.
Not able to load videos — it was an actual assault?

I don't understand why you haven't been able to view the video. I created this alternate link here below that bypasses the publisher's link and goes directly to You Tube. Please update me on whether or not you were able to view it.

Yes, this is a big deal. Conservatives have as much right to protest as any other group in this country. Someone being assaulted by an Angry Moronic Liberal whiny Black Male is a big deal. The push is on to file affidavits to show these idiots we will not tolerate their abuse and we will continue to exercise our Constitutional Rights as American Citizens. Most of all, these nitwits have to be shown they are NOT above the law.
Wake Up America!!!

In midst of a very peaceful, low-profile civil demonstration, there emerges what can only be described as an angry black man, his opening statement as he approaches the group in a rather disruptive fashion, is to invoke the name of President George Bush in belligerent tone, attitude.
Substance abuse doesn't seem to be out of the question for the bizarre manner in which he insults, shouts, shoves several of the demonstrators all of which is caught on video. it doesn't get any more violent than that. At the end of the video there is a police cruiser in view indicating the police did manage to arrive on the scene without providing resolution on the fate of this angry black man.

If that man had pushed my wife he would be laying on the ground in the middle of a citizen’s arrest. These guys are bullies and there is only one way to stop a bully.

It would be really stupid to attack anyone at my local tea party protests, because I know for a fact a large number of them are concealed weapons carriers.

If that man had pushed my wife he would be laying on the ground in the middle of a citizens arrest. These guys are bullies and there is only one way to stop a bully Absolutely true. I really don't understand the passivity of conservatives or TEA party memberes who allow a SINGLE angry black racist (or any single deranged liberal) to get away with bullying & shoving & provoking a physical confrontation in the midst of a group of conservatives. I don't understand the husband backpedaling away from this libturd, instead of coming right back at the libturd with a flurry of fists.
Also can you imagine what would happen to a lone conservative protestor in the middle of an SEIU demonstation, or gay rights demonstation or black activist or pro-illegal immigration demonstration? The poor lone conservative protestor might literally be beaten to death. But when the roles are reversed, a single lone deranged libturd can instigate & bully & attack conservatives with no one fighting back to pummel this dirtbag.
I really do not understand this type of passivity. When are conservatives or TEA party members going to start fighting back. The media already smears us anyway....
To: Paleo Conservative
It would be really stupid to attack anyone at my local tea party protests, because I know for a fact a large number of them are concealed weapons carriers. Well, it appears that deranged liberals do it frequently (including at pro-life demonstrations) and get away with it all the time. Deranged libturds can attack, provoke, instigate any physical confrontation, and will rarely if ever be resisted, even in this current video.
