The unproved assumption is that water boarding is torture. Now maybe we wish to ultimately declare it as such...but it doesn't become torture just because leftists decide so. Leftists have a long history in changing them meaning of words. Gay used to be happy...now it has nothing to do with one’s mood, it has to do with one’s perversion, for example.

Exactly.

Today is not the “Publish Date” of the article. This was published March 30, 2009. “Tomorrow” happened over a year ago.

Damn! This was linked from another source that was treating it as big news. If I could delete the thread, I would.

Admin, can you pull it please? I made an error posting this.

I believe that a lot of spying, torture and its approximations, sneaky attacks, assassinations, lying, payoffs and so forth went on that the public will never be aware of, and what we’re told by “authoritative sources” is likely to be intentionally or unintentionally wrong.

Here’s my view. Middle Eastern bad guys attacked us. We smacked them with an Iraq invasion and are still over there smacking. End of story. I’m happy.

Finn and Warrick reported that "not a single significant plot was foiled" as a result of Zubaida's brutal treatment -- and that, quite to the contrary, his false confessions "triggered a series of alerts and sent hundreds of CIA and FBI investigators scurrying in pursuit of phantoms."

The lack of common sense by Finn and Warrick is another good example of why the propaganda machines are running on air. First they can prove nothing but they can put together a selected string empty claims and relationships after the fact.

They are stuck on "stupid" because they obsessed with Bush; why are they so focused on the past? I can understand that if they are Democrats because they have no foundation, repressive Utopian goals, and disordered minds to boot.

I’d just ask the admins to change the date in the header. Click “Abuse” and be really, really nice to them. This is Saturday and there’s an unpredictable one that works Saturdays.....

The WaPo itself said he was providoing valuable intelligence...

“THE WASHINGTON POST — Abu Zubaida, a senior al-Qaida operations officer who was captured in Pakistan in March, is continuing to give “good” information to U.S. interrogators “from time to time,” a senior administration official said Thursday.

Zubaida initially identified Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, 37, a Kuwaiti who is reported to be in Afghanistan, as a key logistics planner in the Sept. 11 attacks and later provided leads that led to the arrest of Jose Padilla, the U.S. citizen arrested in Chicago in May on charges that he was preparing to detonate a radioactive bomb in the United States.”

Progressives are the ultimate historical revisionists... revising even their own history.
