With Russia and China it is a test of who can screw the other the most when comes to the sell of weapons. They are right there in each others backyards and right now the Chinese have the money advantage so if the Russians, who are by some reports having serious money crunch problems right now, have something really superior I don't see why they could not secure a deal with the Chinese and have them to buy X-number of avionics and aircraft all up front. It like rifles they know that the ChiComs are going to make knock offs sooner or later. Might as well get the money now and cut their loses and use it to upgrade what they got. That is if the Russia's fighter is that superior to the Chinese version. And to me that is the question that needs to be answered. It sounds more an ad campaign on Russia's part for the sell of Jet Fighters right now.
