If there’s truth to this, we may well be looking at a serial killer. Which in turn, would mean there could well be more victims, as well as a number of women who suffered lesser, non-fatal, abuses as Van Der Sloot worked up to his first killing.

This is what predators do - they hunt and kill they prey. This kid is a psychopath who should have been put down before he killed again because
anyone with even a remedial understanding of the nature of homicidal psychopaths knows that they can't stop at just one.
Maybe Natalie Hollaway was his first victim, maybe. But, I would imagine if you could get some honest answers from his family, psychiatrists could piece together the precursors of this behavior from years ago.
