In 1824, Andrew Jackson lost the election in the electoral college to John Quincy Adams after winning the popular vote. Jackson rallied his backers and won four years later.

In 1888, Grover Cleveland won the popular vote but lost the electoral college to Benjamin Harrison. Cleveland ran again four years later, and won.

In 2000, Gore won the popular vote but lost in the electoral college to George W. Bush. Gore apparently let it get to him, put on a lot of weight and had his marriage fall apart.

If Gore truly felt he was robbed, he could have run again. Nobody was stopping him. I don’t have any sympathy with whiners.

Which means absolutely NOTHING in a presidential election.

That's like saying, "Sure, we didn't make the playoffs, but we scored more runs than any other team this year!"

Oh so nothing else happened the past decade after Gore lost the election???

I wonder if the MSM realize just how ridiculous they sound with such made tripe. They would be on more solid ground blaming it on sunspots.

“I think Gore is getting a divorce so Tipper can stash some cash before Al gets his shorts sued off for the Globull Warming hoax he has foisted on all the investors in his now failing companies.”

This explanation makes the most sense.

A marriage built on weak and shifting sand can be toppled by just a blowing leaf...it doesn’t take the whole Bush.

Also, don't forget:

1n 1960 Nixon lost the race to JFK by one of the closest margins ever. Refusing a recount as being divisive, he came back to win the Presidency in 1968.

Gore’s brain is a can of marbles, that is why she is dumping the fool!

You give marbles a bad name!

0.51% margin of victory in the popular vote is NOTHING to brag about.

The election eve disclosure of Bush’s decades old DWI arrest cost him the popular vote.

If you recount the ballots from coast to coast. Bush certainly won.

To critique “the kiss” it looked as if they hadn’t touched in ages. Really awkward. If my husband kissed me like that I’d never want to make love to him.

“I think Gore found him a greenie-girl, and Tipper found it out.”

Frankly, I think the South Park creators have had the goods on “Al” for years.

Thuper! Thanks for asking!
