The E.U. not so much, but the U.K. should know better. The E.U. is a befuddled state of idiots for the most part. (IMO)
There’s video of this for heaven’s sake. It’s plain as day what took place. How do you not see this, except as others have stated, deep seated Antisemitism?

The flag of Cyprus has a picture of Cyprus on it. The message is that the EU member Greek Cyprus is the whole Cyprus and the only Cyprus, and its borders can be seen right on its flag. Same reason Kosovo put a picture of Kosovo on their flag. The EU has its own EU peacekeeping mission in Kosovo, EULEX. If NATO pulls out of Kosovo, the EU will take over like they did in Bosnia.
