The Department of Homeland Security is alerting Texas authorities to be on the lookout for a suspected member of the Somalia-based Al Shabaab terrorist group who might be attempting to travel to the U.S. through Mexico, a security expert who has seen the memo tells FOXNews.com.
The warning follows an indictment unsealed this month in Texas federal court that accuses a Somali man in Texas of running a “large-scale smuggling enterprise” responsible for bringing hundreds of Somalis from Brazil through South America and eventually across the Mexican border. Many of the illegal immigrants, who court records say were given fake IDs, are alleged to have ties to other now-defunct Somalian terror organizations that have merged with active organizations like Al Shabaab, al-Barakat and Al-Ittihad Al-Islami.
In 2008, the U.S. government designated Al Shabaab a terrorist organization. Al Shabaab has said its priority is to impose Sharia, or Islamic law, on Somalia; the group has aligned itself with Al Qaeda and has made statements about its intent to harm the United States.
In recent years, American Somalis have been recruited by Al Shabaab to travel to Somalia, where they are often radicalized by more extremist or operational anti-American terror groups, which Al Shabaab supports. The recruiters coming through the Mexican border are the ones who could be the most dangerous, according to law enforcement officials.
Security experts tell FOXNews.com that the influx of hundreds of Somalis over the U.S. border who allegedly have ties to suspected terror cells is evidence of a porous and unsecured border being exploited by groups intent on wrecking deadly havoc on American soil.

Just a simple question,
How in the world do Somali terrorists go unnoticed in the United States of America?
I mean after they get here, and all, are there really that many Somali already inside the United States? Oh joy.
Uh, What about drones with infrared sensors? Is it possible to see every single person walking across the desert with great ease? And if they were all put in work camps for several years, when they stopped coming? 40 years ago I believe all these people were sincere hard working Hispanics but now it seems there is an extremely high percentage of gangs and other undesirables.
We can all thank Lyndon Johnson and the wonderful Teddy Kennedy for ruining our country in 1965. Google it.

How do you “keep a look out” if you can’t even ask for ID.
I hope they are headed for a boycott city, preferably one that is a sanctuary city as well.
I am seeing more and more North African looking people in Muslim garb here in Aurora, Colorado. Tonight we took a trip to the mountains--a fairly good distance (60 miles or so) out of the city to a mountain park area. A huge group of Muslim men, butts in the air, were under one of the picnic areas. They didn't look like Somalis, but definitely not Amish. They had women and children with them too--some of the women all you could see were their eyes.
I also know of a small city in Nebraska--Grand Island where I have heard they have taken over parts of the town. Here's an article about Somali immigrants in Grand Island from today coincidentally enough:

I think there are also parts of Maine of all places that have a large Somali population. It seems our country has gone on overdrive to destroy itself.

The Feds have sent this alert to Texas authorities. Texas authorities in turn should advise Texans, and all Americans, to be ready at arms. Terrorists comin across our borders should fear an armed American populace. We should all be so heavily armed as to make them think twice, thrice, and . . . make them turn around and go elsewhere.
