I have a book I bought at rummage sale years ago. The publish mark is 1895. The title “Meet the Negro”. It is about 150 pages or so. Each page is about a “negro” who contributed to the country in some significant way.
I do not like Beck (I have a problem with men who cry) but thanks for posting this it was interesting.

I have a problem with men who cry? King David wept, Joseph wept; Jesus wept. And Peter went out, and wept bitterly. My Bible says there is a time for everything, in Ecclesiastes 3:4 it says: there is a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance. I wish there were more men like Glenn weeping for America.
