Bill Clinton Was Asked to Offer Sestak Job
Liberty Juice ^ | 05/28/2010 | Chris Bounds

Posted on 05/28/2010 11:41:46 AM PDT by ChrisBoundsTX

The White House confirms that Rahm Emanuel asked Bill Clinton to offer an adviser job to Sestak if he would drop out of the Senate race.

Reported earlier today, a formal statement from the White House stated that Sestak was offered an unpaid adviser job on an intelligence board by Bill Clinton. This information comes the day after Obama and Clinton met for lunch. Sestak’s statement is coming soon.

Update: 5/28/10 at 10:55 am

Did former President Clinton speak with Joe Sestak during the PA Senate primary about whether he was open to other options?

In my article, Scandal at the White House, I detailed the stonewalling of both Sestak and the White House regarding the details of what actually took place. According to the Washington Post, Senior White House adviser Rahm Emanuel asked Clinton to speak with Sestak to see if he was serious about running for Senate against Arlen Specter, who President Obama endorsed. The White House is promising to release a formal statement today regarding specific details of the events.

More details to come, I am sure.

Of course, nothing will be done about it.

Sounds like they were using Bill Clinton to evade the laws on offering federal jobs (bribes) to get Sestak to do what they wanted. Since Bill Clinton is not a government official and in the position to make such an offer, they thought they could use him as a “backdoor” to give them selves plausible deniablility.

Of Course it was him, he is the best liar they have in the Democrat Party. Of Course it had to be him.

He has shown his incredible word twisting skills and has been awarded a 18 degree black belt in the tongue jousting.

No wonder the woman love him.

Isn’t this the scenario of Obama in the get-away car during a robbery with Rham and and Clinton crime? Don’t they all have to do the time?

In my state:

RCW 9A.28.040
Criminal conspiracy.

(1) A person is guilty of criminal conspiracy when, with intent that conduct constituting a crime be performed, he or she agrees with one or more persons to engage in or cause the performance of such conduct, and any one of them takes a substantial step in pursuance of such agreement.

(2) It shall not be a defense to criminal conspiracy that the person or persons with whom the accused is alleged to have conspired:

(a) Has not been prosecuted or convicted; or

(b) Has been convicted of a different offense; or

(c) Is not amenable to justice; or

(d) Has been acquitted; or

(e) Lacked the capacity to commit an offense; or

(f) Is a law enforcement officer or other government agent who did not intend that a crime be committed.

(3) Criminal conspiracy is a:

(a) Class A felony when an object of the conspiratorial agreement is murder in the first degree;

(b) Class B felony when an object of the conspiratorial agreement is a class A felony other than murder in the first degree;

(c) Class C felony when an object of the conspiratorial agreement is a class B felony;

(d) Gross misdemeanor when an object of the conspiratorial agreement is a class C felony;

(e) Misdemeanor when an object of the conspiratorial agreement is a gross misdemeanor or misdemeanor.

Federal RICO is even worse, depending on ones view. ;>)

“And Sestak could not say this in the first place because?”

This is BS! Sestak is being made to look like an idiot and/or a liar. Next he will be saying he was offered a job before he wasn't offered a job. Sestak needs to now say that he was an idiot and that when he said he was offered a job he wasn't really offered a job (He misspoke) he was really offered a “position”.

Joe Sestak knows that this won't pass the smell test... there is an “intent to deceive” in this. Had he done something like this as a midshipman the Honor Committee would have Bilged him out.

It is also very interesting that we now have a proven perjurer in the middle of the whole thing. Obama better watch it. If Bill gets a chance he will throw POTUS under the bus so Hillary can achieve her ambition.

Doesn’t matter whether Clinton offered him anything or not.

The fact that the Whitehouse admits that RAHM asked Clinton to offer Sestak a job to give up the senate race is proof of a crime!

The key here is Rahm asking who is a member of the Administrations staff.

NOT Clinton.

As enjoyable as that would be, the head honcho had to give the go-ahead.
