Toll from Jamaica violence climbs to 73

At least 73 people died this week as Jamaican security forces stormed a Kingston slum and battled armed supporters of an alleged drug lord wanted for extradition to the United States, police said on Thursday. Residents complained of abuse and rights groups questioned whether police and soldiers had used excessive and indiscriminate force.

Not real sure about how many of these people were innocent, or civilians.

Sounds a little like they were backing the perp,instead of the law.

I doubt the investigation will tell us a lot more than we know now, who can trust the investigators?

AGREED! The wife and I just went to Hawaii for 7 days for $1200 and that's airfare and hotel out of CVG!

Actually no. We just vacationed there in February for the third time.

If you're in one of the resort towns it's a wonderful country.
