Johnny had a great song back in the early 90s called “Goin’ By the Book”. Basically stated that everything is happening just as the Bible said it would.

Johnny came back from Hell and inspired millions. I’m also a fan of the Carter family.

I like his rendition of “Peace in the Valley” very soulful and heartfelt.
Love his work. Have many many CDs.
Duet with June of “Darling Companion” is another favorite as is “Guitar Pickin’ Man”.
So many great songs. Miss him too.

Just bought “Ain’t no Grave” and “Cash: Ultimate Gospel”. Both are great. Most of his music is great.

He did a documentary on the life of Christ called “The Gospel Road”. Real good video. I think it was early to mid 70’s video and still aviable in Amazon.com.

His most famous religious work has got to be “When the Man comes around”.
