Harry Reid's Re-Election Hopes on the Rise in Nevada
Time ^ | May 25, 2010 | Jay Newton-Small

Posted on 05/26/2010 2:49:48 PM PDT by Fred

At the end of last summer, after all the heated town-hall meetings on health care reform, Senate majority leader Harry Reid was in a meeting with senior staff in his offices on the second floor of the Senate. He was prepping for an interview when an aide raised a concern about the effect Reid's actions might have on his re-election back home — which wasn't going so well. Reid gazed at his staff sitting in a semi-circle in front of him before answering the question. "Look, everyone, I am who I am, and I'm not going to change ... O.K.?" he barked.

the criminal liberal media is grasping at anything and everything....

“Reid still has a long way to go. He remains unpopular in the state, with his favorable-unfavorable numbers hovering at 38%-56% for over a year. He trails Lowden by an average 10 of points and Tarkanian and Angle by 6 points each. If the election were held today against any of these three, Reid would likely lose.”

then again. when you are in the sewer there’s no place to go but up....

Pure Time Slime!

From the Article: Reid has risen in the polls from lows in the mid-30s in January to the low-40s now, though he still trails all three of his potential opponents.

Reid will win all right, provided the economy does an unprecedented recovery, the Pubbies fail to find a viable candidate, people forget ObamaCare, several hundred thousand illegals flock to Nevada and turn out to vote, and a dozen or so other virtually impossible contingencies come to pass.

Otherwise, the aging Libtard is toast.

I was looking over on Real Clear Politics and those poll numbers seem to be about a month old. It'd be nice to see some more recent results.

It must be nice to be employed by Time, you get paid while some Reid staffer writes your overly-dramatic sycophantic article for you.

One of Pinky's selling points is that he is 'the most powerful man in Washington' because he is the majority leader.

That is going to change real soon. Both Schumer and Durbin are gunning for the slot, ergo, Schumer and Durbin slow down the money going to Reid for his race.

How can this be?
If this total incompetent crook can’t be replaced, then there is absolutely no hope what-so-ever for the future of this country - and that is a big understatement. IMHO

No he hasnt. He's been around 40 forever. He hasnt budged in 6 months even though he has spent millions of dollars on advertising.

He is toast; lightly buttered, served ice cold.
