Plessy v. Ferguson stood longer than Roe has even today. Was it "settled law"?

Why exactly is abortion “settled law?” Because liberals think it’s sacrosanct? Sorry, that won’t fly. There is no perceptible right to an abortion in the constitution. To claim it’s “settled law” somehow suggests there’s no controversy or room for disagreement about the Roe ruling when in fact there is ample room for questioning the propriety of it. The fact is, Roe was legislating not adjudicating.

Let me see: The American majority hates the Democrats, but it hates the Republicans just a little bit more. Wonder why.

How long before socialism is officially dead, because I really don’t see socialism officially dying anytime soon! If socialistic laws already in place really can’t be undone by a future majority of non-leftists, then what’s the point in running for office as “solutions to ongoing socialism”?

To: Nachum
I figured that already.
Snowe and others will position themselves as ‘fair and balanced’ in order to aid their a-hole buddies across the aisle in pointing fingers and degrading conservatives.
Who is next (or already there): Kyl, McCain, Graham ....

It’s settled law if you’re a godless, scumfaced, murderous leftist. It’s not if you’re a normal human being with a conscience.

God, these Maine Senators just make me wanna puke. THE very definition of milquetoast, Rockefeller Republicanism. We cannot continue to associate with this kind of whore politician. She is not a conservative. She should not be a Republican. In fact, MANY Republicans should not be Republicans!

This is the game: to Progressives, "settled law" only applies to subjects about which left-wing judges have ruled in their favor. In those events, precedent and stare decisis are held as inviolable truths. On the other hand, laws on which Conservative principles have held sway are open to endless challenge and creative interpretation.
