The US is in roughly the same position it was back in the 40s when Hitler was rampaging through sovereign European countries. At some point one of our major allies is going to call for us to help, and this time we’ll be completely unable to provide any assistance.

I would think the killing of 46 SK sailors by NK would do it. Plus NK guys who got caught plotting to assassinate some SK dignitary. I guess it does need to really happen before it all breaks loose though.
