President Obama and first family home to Chicago for Memorial Day

President Barack Obama and family are heading home for the Memorial Day holiday, and though the schedule is still sketchy, he's confirmed to attend ceremonies at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in far south suburban Elwood.

Mr. Obama, First Lady Michelle, and children Malia and Sasha will arrive in Chicago on Thursday, according to a White House Press release. What they'll be doing between then and Monday has yet to be released but they will be staying at their home in Hyde Park.

They couldn't have gone to Chicago on another weekend and keep up the tradition and duty of every president to remember the fallen heros at the Arlingon National Ceremony on Memorial Day... What a "Commander in Chief" we have...

I am quite certain that Preisdent Bush went to the Arlington Cemetary every Memorial Day, I can’t imagine he would skip something like this.

I also vaguely remember that Obama went last year, he was very awkward.
