of course the people in charge now want to take the 401k and IRAs... those people are ‘the rich’... any account with more then some number they will pick (most likely $10k)... will be ‘trimmed’/confiscated to pay for the government programs they forced on the rest of us over the years.

they will justify it as redistributing the wealth, when in reality it is just theft.

then again, i see progressive taxes as theft (and unConstitutional)

“any account with more then some number they will pick (most likely $10k)...”

I have been thinking about this for awhile, and while I am sure that it is in the mind of progressives, my personal opinion is that it will not be possible.

First, this is nothing more than a “wealth” tax and it would need to be applied to all wealth. I don’t believe that the wealthy libtards would allow for it to be applied to their wealth. Think of Gates, Sorors or Heinz-Kerry. I don’t believe that they would allow for their wealth to be confiscated.

I do agree with you that in the progressives’ thoughts is a “cap” on wealth, with anything over that to be “redistributed” to the “less fortunate.” My guess would be that the amount would be their perscribed interest rate, times the balance would generate an “average” annual income equal to the “average” wage in America. Right now I think that is $40K annually, so anything over $1,350,000 x 3% interest “SHOULD” be redistributed.....

I honestly don’t think the libtard power players would allow it, but I do admit that if they could find a way then they are salivating at the opportunity.
