I know another guy who is planning to do that for business reasons - but he is still waiting for an opinion from his lawyers since the corporate tax rate is so much higher in the USA.

Eh, it’s not the money that concerns me but travelling back up to Canada should I give up my citizenship. I’m more than happy to pay US taxes.
