Costa Mesa, CA Declares Itself a "rule of Law" City
Allan Mansoor, Mayor of Costa Mesa | May 20, 2010 | Stayfree

Posted on 05/20/2010 8:57:16 AM PDT by Stayfree

Allan Mansoor, Mayor of Costa Mesa announced on Fox News that the City of Costa Mesa was declaring itself a "Rule of Law" city...the exact opposite of "Sanctuary" cities. The city actually has a full-time ICE officer in the city jail, and the city has used that officer to identify and process for deportation over 1,900 criminal illegals

TOPICS: Government
KEYWORDS: aliens; illegals; immigration
Allan Mansoor should receive our collective support.

My aunt has lived in Costa Mesa for 30 years. She will be applauding this news.

You wouldn’t know it by driving through Costa Mesa.

And I think it borders Santa Ana which is heavily populated with those from down south.

Proud to say....I work in Costa Mesa. Now the question is....How can Costa Mesa secede from California and become a city in Arizona?

Lived in CM for 20 years and I agree it’s a wonderful town. It’s like North Newport Beach except for the South Santa Ana parts.

Better a rule of law city than a sanctuary city to be sure. Sanctuary cities all over America should be boycotted.

I was shocked to see a course on ‘Becoming a Sanctuary City’ being offered at our local seniors’ center. The interesting thing is that it is aimed at members of the ‘faith community.’ Why don’t these people of faith ever worry about breaking the law as they create these sanctuary cities? Do they ever think about the effect on crime and culture by opening the doors to illegals? How do you say you’re a religious person and then go about helping people to break the law?

Looks like Arizona is leading the way. Hopefully more cities and states will catch up. Maybe there’s hope after all!
