PESHAWAR: A suicide car-bomber attacked a police van in Dera Ismail Khan on Tuesday, killing 12 people, including three policemen, a doctor said.
There has been a relative lull in militant violence in recent weeks since government forces stepped up offensives in the Orakzai and Khyber regions of the northwest after largely clearing Pakistani Taliban strongholds in other areas.
The bomber attacked the police van in which an officer and some of his men were travelling to their police station, said policeman Iftikhar Khan.
A doctor at the town's main hospital said 12 dead and 10 wounded people had been brought in.

“Contests” today are just set up to get a “politically correct” and/or “diversity” outcome.....same as that faggot that won on Survivor, way back. These aren’t constests at all anymore, just a way to force-feed “political correctness” on the American Public. The State-Run-Media promotes the agenda 24/7, and so it goes....
RIP.
Turns out it was a bicycle bomb, not a car bomb.
MIRAMSHAH: A bomb planted on a bicycle killed 12 people in northwestern Pakistan on Tuesday, targeting police in the latest assault on security forces battling Taliban and Al-Qaeda-linked militants.
At least one woman and a six-year-old girl were among nine civilians killed when the bomb exploded as a senior police officer drove through the outskirts of Dera Ismail Khan, officials said.
