It reminds me of the NJ senate campaign when Frank Lautenberg was brought in after the deadline to replace Robert Torricelli. In that case the NJ Supreme Court, to its eternal disgrace, upheld this blatant violation of the law.
I still get steamed thinking about Lautenberg. Hopefully we’re not getting set up to see a replay.
