I'm concerned, for instance, about Sarah Palin's eagerness to endorse John McCain in his Arizona primary race versus the clearly better J.D. Hayworth. I'm also concerned about Palin's decision to endorse Carly Fiorina over the clearly superior Chuck DeVore in California. I also worry about her squishiness on illegal immigration.
Then there's Mitt Romney, who I have described as the worst possible president to follow Obama. Romney is an impostor. If he wins in 2012, he will roll back none of the of the Obama initiatives.
So who else is out there?
To whom do we turn?
Is there anyone out there who can really excite us, energize us?
Is there anyone who can do that and be a consistently effective president the kind of leader who can undo the damage inflicted by Obama and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid?
If we had to vote today for president and vice president and could choose anyone for those positions, I can tell you who would get my write-in votes Sen. Jim DeMint and Rep. Michele Bachmann.
I have watched this pair closely and carefully over the last few years, and I have been impressed with their ideas, their courage, their consistency and their leadership.
This is a team that could excite the base, win the election and have the conviction to roll back the Obama destruction. Maybe there are others out there who could do it, too. I hope so. But, as for me, I'm glad I was able to find a ticket that is not only viable, but enviable.

Palin/Bolton 2012!!
I think Bolton would be a very good choice. Not sure I can support the other party of that ticket.
Because of the McCain endorsement? How would you feel about someone who backstabbed the person who put them on the national stage?
“I’m concerned, for instance, about Sarah Palin’s eagerness to endorse John McCain”
I don’t see why. She was his VP candidate ~ 18 months ago. If she hadn’t supported him, the leftw ould have banged this drum:
“he’s good enough for president, but not senator???”
Farah is inconsistent.
Palin and Bolton could both serve in A DeMint/Bachmann administration, along with Mary Cheney, Ted Nugent, Ryan, Cantor, Pence, etc...could be one hell of a line-up...
I hear some of us Palin supporters are being tossed out of Freerepublic????
McCain and Fiorina for sure. Those two are disgusting.
McCain did not pick Palin to help Palin. He picked her to help himself, which she most certainly did. I do not think that she owed him bupkis. He used her and pooped on her head during the campaign.
The McCain endorsement, alone, was enough to turn me off. But whe she added the affirmative action incompetent from HP, she finished off any support I may have had for her.
I can already hear the Dems campaign against Fiorina, if she wins the primary. She is another fat-cat corporate CEO, who was awarded a large golden parachute for being a dismal failure. Heck, her picture alone is enough to send me in a different direction.
I worry about anyone who thinks Mr Demint is exciting. He will get the same amount of traction in a national campaign as say,,,,, Mr Brownback did.....
Pareus/Palin
DeMint/Bachmann wouldnt/couldnt make it. Too many in the RNC/GOP dislike them. Its a power theing.

ShareWILL SERVE AS CAMPAIGN CO-CHAIR
Big news from the re-election campaign of Sen. Lindsey Graham:
COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA U.S. Senator Lindsey Grahams re-election campaign today announced that fellow Senator Jim DeMint has endorsed Graham and agreed to serve as a Co-Chairman of his campaign.
Lindsey Graham is a true leader who has fought to strengthen our military, protect the sanctity of life, and keep taxes low, said DeMint. His devotion to and for our men and women in uniform is evident each and every day he serves in the U.S. Senate. He knows that the battles we face against radical Islamic terrorists threaten our very freedoms and prosperity.

If Farah is a Christian—I don’t know whether he is or not—his ancestors were probably Christian when yours were painting themselves blue and worshipping trees.
I like the sound of that ticket.
“If Farah is a ChristianI dont know whether he is or nothis ancestors were probably Christian when yours were painting themselves blue and worshipping trees.”
Nasty.
I don’t know about that, but my ancestors were certainly Christian while yours were burning heretics & charging a fee for rapists and murderers to carry on about their business!
You have to admit that protestants had a point at the time of the reformation, don’t you? I mean the Church was disgustingly corrupt then, right? The protestants were perfectly correct to deny the moral legitimacy of the Vatican at that time. Even if you believe that the Church isn’t like that now, it certainly was then. What say you?
I should have said “and mine” also. I’m Irish.
If Farah is an Arab, and a Christian, my statement still goes.
And I didn’t say anything about Protestants, or Catholics. Why did you suddenly start flinging the anti-Catholic dung?
Presidential politics should no longer be a popularity contest. We lead *real* leadership not, a beauty pageant.
Yes we need a Statesman like Sarah Palin!!!!Just my 2 cents!!!
