The fall of Constantinople, some centuries ago, became the same sort of “realisation of prophecy” according to their Quran.

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, Chairman of Cordoba Initiative, was invited to speak in Sydney, Australia, by Premier Bob Carr in 2004.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, he said the U.S. and the West must acknowledge the harm they’ve done to Muslims before terrorism can end.
He said the West must understand the terrorists’ point of view – and he blamed Christians for starting mass attacks on civilians.
“The Islamic method of waging war is not to kill innocent civilians. But it was Christians in World War II who bombed civilians in Dresden and Hiroshima, neither of which were military targets,” he said.

Islam is not a religion. It is a violent political ideology with its own set of laws and court system. Religion is only one component and is used to impose Islam on non muslim societies.
I believe the very title for it as created by two persons name of Murdoch, was "The Crescent of Hope". It was, as most people might know in the shape of a crescent. It has been stated it pointed toward Mecca. I understand that outrage had caused a rethink. It was then converted into a circle. Apparently the names of the dead were to be enshrined and the names of the evil swine who sent the doomed flight down, also recorded separately.
It is a blatent piece of Islamic arrogance to build this mosque there. How they can get away with this, if they do, almost is beyond belief.
