NOT LONG AFTER President Nixon took the unprecedented step of imposing peacetime wage and price controls, the American people learned a basic economic lesson: Artificial controls don’t work unless underlying costs are controlled.

Four decades later, the Patrick administration is imposing controls on small business health insurance rates. The move will prove to be little more than an election-year reprise of Nixon’s failed effort.

The Commonwealth’s 2006 health care reform was supposed to help address rising health insurance costs for small businesses. It hasn’t — and small businesses are paying the price.

Instead of Lawyers running for Congress it should be mandatory that those running have a least an MBA to even qualify to be a candidate! A couple of PHD’s wouldn’t hurt either.

Romney has an MBA from Harvard...how did that turn out with Romney care.

How about we elect politicians that understand the concept of (constitutionally) limited powers and recognize that government is not a business.

Letters behind a name don’t mean sh1t. Those “lawyers” have undergrad degrees and law degrees and look where we are.

Letters behind a name hardly guarantees anything. Look at the climate scientists covering up their blatant lies.

Further why fall for more “experts”? Congress always finds “experts” to appeal to to get ‘proof’ what they want to do will work. The “experts” still believe in global warming. they still believe we want Obamacare.

It has nothing to do with degrees. It has EVERYTHING to do with the WORLDVIEW a person holds. Get the people in with the right WORLDVIEW and you’ll get far, far better decisions.

But the federal health care mandates are clearly spelled out in the Constitution according to Romney and the Romneybots. Running to the left of McCain will not work this time around.
