Kagan Watch has obtained a copy of Solicitor General Elena Kagan’s senior thesis entitled “To the Final Conflict: Socialism in New York City, 1900-1933.” Here is an excerpt of her discussing writing about socialism and declaring “it is that American radicals cannot afford to become their own worst enemies. In unity lies their only hope.”

There’s a good link on Kaganwatch to an Ann Althouse article on Kagan’s skills as Solicitor General. Seems she’s not all that persuasive and thus Kennedy will stick with the boys much more frequently than he’ll swing to the girls’ side.
Could turn out to be a good thing to have an ineffective liberal lightweight if we’re going to invariably get a liberal anyway.
The conventional wisdom is, at this time Zero doesn’t want to give his whole agenda away by nominating a real scary Marxist such as Sunstein so he’s picked a relatively innocuous and unknown lesbian thereby throwing a bone to his gay constituency as well.

The only way to stop the appointment of ‘He-She-It’ to SCOTUS would be if some deep dark scandal surfaced. Also, from what I understand, ‘He-She-It’ also fought all birth certificate lawsuits.
