Kagan Whitewash [mainstream media ignores her actions that should disqualify her for Supreme Court]
jewishworldreview.com ^ | May 5, 2010 | Evan Gahr

As Dean of Harvard Law School in 2004 and 2005 she treated two liberal law professors with kid gloves when they were busted for plagiarism. Her chicanery was so blatant that even a leftist academic said she should be fired for her "whitewash."

Kagan's essential absolution of both professors has been virtually unnoticed in the flood of stories about her possible Supreme Court nomination this year and in 2009 when she was considered a top candidate to replace liberal Justice David Souter.

But the way she handled professors Larry Tribe and Charles Ogletree, when they both were caught swiping the words of others, seems to violate basic principles of fairness.

She let the professors off easy for the kind of offense that for which any Harvard undergraduate or law school would have been suspended if not expelled.

As the Harvard Crimson wrote after Kagan and Harvard president Larry Summers declined to punish Tribe, "the glaring double standard set by Harvard stands as an inadequate precedent for future disappointments."

It also could say a lot about Kagan would behave on the bench. Through inaction and disingenuous statements that disregarded Harvard's own disciplinary policy Kagan exonerated Tribe and Ogletree of any malfeasance.

In other words, like a good liberal activist judge, she ignored precedent and the plain meaning of relevant texts to create an outcome that struck her fancy.

Ogletree was not suspended, which is the minimum that undergraduates and graduates face when they are busted for plagiarism. How seriously then did Kagan really treat this transgression?

I know this was posted yesterday, but it needs to be seen by as many people as possible, and it's not getting enough coverage.

From the article: As the Harvard Crimson wrote after Kagan and Harvard president Larry Summers declined to punish Tribe, "the glaring double standard set by Harvard stands as an inadequate precedent for future disappointments."

This proclivity for double standard (the sliding scale of transactional morality, not equal justice under the law) is precisely what the affirmative action bastard-in-chief seeks to change the SCOTUS into. He will succeed if any Constitutionally inclined justices fail to serve longer than this sonofabitch is in the Oval Office.

It’s kindof tough taking the media to task when you own team is showering her with comments like, “She’s a sure bet to be confirmed.”

This woman measures everything by the size of her manhood within her pants. Nothing takes precedence over that. “I’m a dyke and the whole world needs to stand up and salute me.” With the left, it’s all about “me”, my sexuality, my disdain for the U.S. Constitution.

“Damn the First Amendment. Damn the military. Damn everything but my Stalinist world view.”

You have to understand that she will be confirmed if she is breathing.

You have to understand that she will be confirmed if she is breathing.

Do you think she will be confirmed when it's discovered she didn't pay taxes for her illegal alien housekeeper? Or will this fact conveniently be disappeared?

Even Arlen Specter has spoken out against her. There appears to be plenty in her closet in addition to her lack of experience.

I laughed out loud when I heard the ABC spin on this story - basically that since the GOP approved her for solicitor general the decent thing to do would be to rubber stamp her for SCOTUS.

The story trailed off there setting up the context should any republican on the judiciary committee have an unkind word or raised eyebrow at her nomination.

Not a word about who she was much less a word of criticism.

The most galling is their assertion that she is another Justice Rehnquist. It is the same ploy the state-run media used when they compared Zero to President Ronald Reagan. They piggy=back on accomplished conservatives because their nominees have none.

Note that the worthless CNNMSNBCNYTCBSABCNBC @ssholes and other democrats are suddenly silent on Kagan’s total lack of experience as a judge.

These same rat bastards skewered President Bush for his nomination of Harriet Myers because she didn’t have experience as a judge either.

The democrats are such hypocritical and mentally ill @ssholes.

Look you people, if you don’t welcome her with open arms you are intolerant. Doncha know?....

My thinking is that with every liberal judge that is appointed, the left is furthering the agenda of dumbing down society and trashing the Constitution. They are succeeding.

In the end, very likely.

But there is an election coming up, and I suspect (and hope) the GOP will make this confirmation a bloody one.

Her opinions and her actions will not play well with the majority of non-journalist Americans, so the GOP needs to air it all in the hearings themselves. That's the only way the media will be forced to broadcast them.

It can only help to expose just how far left the left has moved.

Oooooh, this must really, really chap the hides of those Jews who voted for 0bama now. Not punishing plagarism? Crime against humanity, that. Jews should now make sure they demand sharp knives instead of rusty knives when 0bama cuts their collective throats. That’ll show him.

That is silly. This Regime has already made it very clear time and time again that tax evasion is no problem for them.

Find something the Press will find fault with if you want to slow down this confirmation, but who would want to do that? And who could do that?
