“MANY people contacted me as Secretary of State prior to and after the election asking how Obama could be on our ballot given this controversy. Absent a court finding that he isn’t a natural born citizen, we have to take the certification from the National Democratic Convention at face value.”

If he had done his job, and actually read the certification from the DNC, he would know it never said Obama was eligible under the Constitution; it only stated that he was their candidate.

It’s in the Constitution of the DNC and RNC that they will only nominate eligible candidates. That’s why the states take their word. The trouble is that the DNC and RNC are exempt from FOIA requirements so they can be as crooked as they want, accountable to nobody. And making a non-governmental entity responsible for checking eligibility is also stupid because the DNC or RNC couldn’t even see Obama’s documents unless he authorized them. A secretary of state would have legal authority to see the documentation.

IOW, the political parties get the credibility of a governmental agency without havng any of the accountability.

Regardless of what happens with Obama this is one thing that NEEDS to be corrected. My SOS said that the voters are the background check for politicians. But the SCOTUS says we can’t operate on anything but rumors because the official records are nobody’s business. Some kind of “security check”, huh?

But Pelosi perjured herself when she signed Hawaii’s certification saying he is Constitutionally eligible.

I don’t understand why SCOTUS apparently said that nobody within the democrat party can sue the DNC leadership for violating their constitution by nominating an ineligible candidate. If a democrat can’t sue, then who ever CAN hold them accountable to their constitution - the only thing safeguarding the process for most states? On what basis was Berg’s case against the DNC rejected?

It’s so incredibly unbelievable to me that all the judges have ruled that there is nobody who can hold these “leaders” accountable when they break the law and/or perjure themselves.
