For an openly gay man or not, Sullivan shows an obsessive interest in what has been occurring in the nether regions of two prominent women (Palin and Kagan). Um, Andrew? Let’s judge them by what they do, not what their reproductive proclivities are. (Isn’t that really the central tenet of gay rights, anyway?)

It’s a bit distressing to see how many of the comments are talking about nothing but Kagan’s looks. If we don’t like the libs focusing their remarks about Palin’s looks, or any other politician, we should at least be adult enough to not engage in it ourselves. Oppose her because of her liberal stance on the issues. Attack her for kicking the military recruiters out of Harvard. Don’t attack her simply on how she looks, or what stereotype you think she’s fitting into.
