You need to settle down, you are confusing things here.
This is the GOP primary, not the general election, that poll you posted about a hypothetical race in a future election is meaningless. The prolife/NRA member, Fiorina can win this race, she is the only one that can defeat the aggressively pro abortion/gay marriage, Tom Campbell.
Devore never got traction, he is finished and nothing is going to change that in the next four weeks.
Not a bit.
This is the GOP primary, not the general election,
Duh.
Excuse me, but were you here for the recall election? If so, then you'll recall all the "fiscal conservative" "he can win" crap sold to conservatives about Arnold. I did everything possible to point out who Arnold really was to no avail, the cheer-leading liars took the day, even while McClintock was polling ahead of Bustamante 1 on 1.
What SoCalPol is saying is that Fiorina can win against Boxer, unlike DeVore. It is simply NOT TRUE, as is shown by recent polling data from a reputable source. In every public appearance, Fiorina has proven what a disastrous candidate she would be in the general election. All Palin has done is stick her "party uber alles" nose where she had no clue what she was doing.
I will not tolerate another disinformation campaign against a conservative while apologizing and obfuscating the record of a demonstrable globalist cap-and-trade RINO like Fiorina. She is the last thing we need in the Senate. She is the antithesis of the Tea Party grass-roots candidate. She confirms the corporate orientation of the CAGOP leadership, which is something from which NO candidate in a post TARP climate would benefit in generating turnout in an off year election. Boxer is beatable by a conservative in this Tea Party climate. Fiorina has massive baggage with the entire tech community. She has no debating skills, as even she knows, having dodged several opportunities.
So, unlike Socalpol (or you), I offered hard data refuting this BS. Meanwhile, you are bandying Tom Campbell as if he was Bustamante as justification for supporting Fiorina. Remember: an unknown and incompetent Simon took Riordan by an 18 point margin, coming from behind in the final weeks of the primary. Once California Republicans know who these candidates are, they will favor the conservative if they think he has a shot. That is our job here at FR. Hence, if you want to push a RINO here, you'll run into a buzz saw.
