Ah no. Businesses started slashing the day after election day. They knew what was coming. Businesses are conserving capital and cutting costs. Stores and restaurants are empty. People are not spending money. 2009 - people were hanging on with savings, 2010 they are depleting their savings and it is getting worse.

I saw solid gold employees this week at empty restaurants at lunch time. They were smiling because they are terrified that they will lose their job soon. I was terrified because I see it getting worse. Brown bagging now.

The Democrats control the TV newsmedia so they control the country. Also thank McCain for McCain Feingold for giving the Dems Congress and the White House.

The idiots cannot connect the dots that TV news forms and shapes opinions for the masses. Keep your sat and cable TV which keeps them in control? Fox? LOL Partially owned by the Saudis but a few people here told me the Saudis are our friends.

There is legal precedent regarding the uninforceable nature of noncompete agreements when an employee is put out of work by the other party to the agreement. There is no legal grounds for preventing you from working. It’s not worth the paper it’s written on, since they let you go. Had you left of your own volition, it would be binding.

I figure by the time I’m 62 in 8 years they will lay me off so like I said the 96 weeks of unemployment looks good to me. Get rested up to retire so to say.

Consult an attorney specializing in labor and employment in your state before you pursue this. I am confident that noncompete agreements are unenforceable upon involuntarily severed employees in my own state, which is a right to work state. I am reasonably sure that this is the case in general, but cover your bases. I’m just an anonymous screen name on FR.

BMW in Greer, SC, is hiring 200 people for its assembly line. If you want the name of agency screening applicants, Freep-mail me.
