Hey I was once where you are now. I understand how you feel, but it's not what you think.

Think about this. Whenever the Republicans had the majority what happened with the size of government? Did they ever eliminate an agency? What did they do about Illegal immigration?

How about this. When some people are against the Department of Homeland Security. It's because they fear that one day someone in Washington will get in power, and use that against the American People. Case in point, FBI’s Mueller for calling home-grown terrorists a threat equal to Al Qaeda. Think about how silent the Federal Government is about the Ft Hood massacre. Who are they targeting. Veterans, Militias, people who do not believe in abortion and the tea party.

We as a nation have to be VERY careful about giving our government power because if it gets into the wrong hands. It could be used against us.

Speaking of the war. We have very superior technology compared to the rest of the world. Our military can do amazing things, but for whatever reason we cannot find OBL. A man hidden in a Cave?

Have you heard what the MAIN CIA guy in charge of getting OBL said? I watched an interview with him, and according to him we let him go. This CIA officer had a great record. That is why he was put in charge, and now he speaking out. I trust this guy over a politician any day.

Think about our government this way. They have lied to us about Social Security and medicare. In other words they have spent the trust fund. They have lied to us about global warming. If government was a person or even a business. How can you trust them?

So going back to Rand Paul. He wants to get our nation back to the way our Founding Fathers intended it to be. I suggest you look into it. I know you look like you know it already. I will be more than happy to email (via Free Republic) to show you what I'm looking at.
