Does having an affair = removal from office now? Clinton got in trouble for lying under oath etc. Just having an affair isn’t going to give congress enough ammo to sink him.

Well, it didn't have any effect on Roosevelt, Ike, Kennedy or LBJ either (as far as their political careers).
