I, for the life of me, have never figured out how a conservative could be married to anyone other than another conservative. Maybe it is just my personality, but if my husband was a liberal, we just wouldn’t get along at all.
I fully agree. And I just couldn't take a man seriously who was a liberal. What kind of man advocates dependency and neediness?
As it stands, I find myself avoiding family members who are liberal or moderate. They really kinda disgust me.

I really doubt that McCain’s temper was the reason.
More like trying to buy racial atonement, and figuring out later that she got ripped off.
Trust me, if one of her friends said McCain would be a lousy president because he had a “bad temper), you can take it to the bank she would believe it was true and reason enough to vote against him.
I am married to her for 45 years and know her for 54 years.
I know a lot of people who voted for Obama (some just didn’t vote) because they couldn’t stand McCain. It wasn’t about policy, it was about personality.
