Three Border Patrol agents are assaulted on the average day at or near the U.S. border. Someone is kidnapped every 35 hours in Phoenix, Ariz., often by agents of alien smuggling organizations. And one-in-five American teenagers last year used some type of illegal drug, many of which were imported across the unsecured U.S.-Mexico border

This is worse that I thought. The elite politicians would certainly do something about it if it were THEIR butts.

Phoenix is Number 2 in kidnappings in the entire world. How ‘bout that “diversity”?

It’s shocking that there are so many kidnappings in one city. I wonder how many are safely returned to their loved ones?

The problem is only beginning. Isn’t the current Mexican culture just something to die for.....

There was a recent documetary on natgeo about the problems Phoenix is dealing with, it’s bad. Third world bad, courtesy of illegals. I bet if we just give them amnesty it will all go away right? </sarcasm>
there’s no mystery why Gov Brewer signed the bill into law, she is putting the safety of Arizona citizens first. To bad the Federal gov can’t seem to grasp that concept.

It is wrong. That’s less than one person kidnapped per day. There are only 365 days/year.

I first learned about the kidnappings from Glenn Beck, when Bush was president.

Wish the voters were smart enough to have elected Duncan Hunter, but voters have shown they weren’t so smart when 52% voted for Obama. At least I have hope when I saw a “Buyer’s Remorse” sign at one of the rallies.

Activity that heavy seems a lot like a war. There have to be quite a large number of malefactors there steadily conducting their illegal operations.

Your math is only off by about an order of magnitude. Someone is kidnapped about every day and a half or thereabouts. Use that as the basis for calculating. It’ll be about 250 victims or so...

“... 55,322 criminal aliens were arrested a total of at least 459,614 times, averaging over eight arrests per alien. The Department of Justice expressed its surprise at the ‘extremely high’ rate of re-arrests for criminal aliens when it found that that 73 criminal aliens in a study group were arrested a total of 429 times.”
...quoting a Government Accounting Office (GAO) study.

This GAO study is only counting the number of arrests! And that should bring two questions immediately to mind:
How many actual crimes did these 55,322 criminal aliens actually commit?
How is it even conceivable that each of these illegal aliens could be arrested on average a total of almost nine times?

But to add more insult to injury, many American cities even allow illegal aliens to obtain free health care, food stamps and a whole assortment of government goodies without having their immigration status questioned.

It’s out of control. The Justice Dept. reports the murders, kidnappings, etc., but look what the Justice Dept. is doing:

“Justice Department considers suing Arizona to block immigration law

By Jerry Markon and Anne E. Kornblut
Washington Post Staff Writer
Thursday, April 29, 2010; A03

Officials in the Obama administration are urging the extraordinary step of suing Arizona over its new immigration law, and the Justice Department is considering such an action to block the legislation from taking effect, government officials said Wednesday.”

more http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/04/28/AR2010042805838_pf.html

Then the article goes on to say: “with Obama saying that it “threatened to undermine basic notions of fairness.”

It’s unfair that AK citizens are going through this because Obama is not doing his JOB!
