I didn't say it's a GOOD plan... but, it's the only hope. Pay back debt with cheaper dollars. Of course, the downside is... cost of borrowing goes up, making the economic growth impossible.

And then.. there's always that risk that the inflation runs away, and get Hyper. We're in a very bad way.

This was a long and bloody fight here on FR about a month ago. It's not easy to get your head wrapped around this, but SomeCallMeTim actually said de-valuing our currency. That is inflation, not devaluation. (If the currency is de-valued, it takes more of it to buy the same thing as before. That is inflation).
