THE signing into law of America's toughest bill on illegal immigration has led to immediate protests, reignited the divisive battle over immigration reform and angered the US President.
Even before Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed the bill - aimed at identifying, prosecuting and deporting illegal immigrants - President Barack Obama strongly criticised it.
Speaking at a naturalisation ceremony for 24 active-duty service members in Washington's Rose Garden, he called for a federal overhaul of immigration laws, which congressional leaders signalled they were preparing to take up soon, to avoid ''irresponsibility by others''.
He said the Arizona law, enacted on Friday US time, threatened ''to undermine basic notions of fairness that we cherish as Americans, as well as the trust between police and our communities that is so crucial to keeping us safe''.

Obama is worried about his SEIU votes......Arizona is doing (at last) the right thing...Obama has no constitutional standing on his argument.....but then when did that ever bother him.
Obama will just use this as an excuse to RUSH to give AMNESTY to illegal aliens...problem solved.

Ok, that seriously made me laugh. What an imbecile. No, he is not stupid. He is just very, VERY dangerous in his position. A bad man with little power is not that dangerous. A bad man in a position of power is very dangerous indeed, as history has proven.
Profiling is one of the police’s most powerful weapons. Period.
Look for Obama and his kissers to withhold federal assist money for law enforcement and other things to make Arizona change law. They will make Arizona legislature miserable with federal arrows. It won’t take Obama long to figure out how to do it.

You know there are things that legal Hispanics can do if they don’t want to be profiled, or at least to make the profiling as painless as possible:
1) Carry a passport.
2) LEARN ENGLISH
The second one is interesting, since learning English pretty much makes these people into mainstream Americans, generally doing quite well and often voting conservative...which is EXACTLY why we have bilingual education.

I hope Arizona is ready to fight back and make known just how bad conditions are because the federal government refuses to help by enforcing our laws. Arizona wouldn’t have to pass a law like this if Washington would get serious about protecting our borders.

How illegals can come here and support politicians who intend to make the US as bad or worse than the places they’ve come from amazes me. I know they are filled with hate and envy, anti-American ignorance that prevails in this socialist world and among our liberals, but it seems a smidgen of reason would set in, and make illegals realize that we are the last best chance they have to escape poverty. Why ruin it? They are like looters in a crisis, getting what they can, and our liberals are holding the doors for them. Obamao and his ilk are criminal scum. Tell me where it is written down anywhere that illegal aliens have civil rights?
Note to AZ legislature for future law: any persons granted shamnesty to be considered illegals for the purposes of law enforcement.
