I’m curious as to how many of those receiving citizenship at that ceremony entered the country illegally.

you know, these people are serving our country. As far as I am concerned they earned it.
Those willing to risk their lives in the armed forces are horoes and would be excellent voters in the future. No worries. That should pardon quite a few crimes, IMHO.
