Do you have verification on that statement? It’s been my understanding that webpage ranks are determined by looking at keywords, links, content and longevity and then applying an algorithmic formula. If people are paying Google for higher page ranks, that’s big news.
Companies pay lots of dollars to SEO analysts, web designers and usability experts to drive up their page rankings. If a company need only slip Google a few bucks to get a high page ranking, then things like webpage design and analysis are useless and search engine results are a sham.
If Google is rigging the ranking process, its stock will drop like a rock. Be a good time to short this sucker and make a fortune.
