Obomba’s bounce lasted longer than I thought, but it’s over now.
Going from an overall approval rating of +30% on Jan. 22, 2009 to -17% today is pretty pathetic, by any measure. There have been only a handful of days Obama was at -21% in March, but otherwise today’s figures are nearly as low as they have ever been. Negatives almost certainly will go higher as Senate debates cap-and-tax shortly.
I expect a "wag the dog" ploy later this year. They will try to time it so the temporary bounce lasts through the election.
