It’s a fact. I’d report it to Drudge but the NMCI Nazis would probably track my IP address. Somebody outside the firewall please call/email Fox and let them know. NMCI needs to be slammed - why Fox and not CNN/MSNBC etc?

Please tell me this is not true, that someone was mistaken or that it was a momentary/temporary Internet glitch of some type.

Did the people contact their IT department? Part of the blocking message says to contact the network admin if you feel that you have been blocked from a site in error.

I don’t know about the IT people where I currently work, but at my previous post, the IT guys were a bunch of rabid conservatives, even going so far as to pin up pics downloaded from the well-known subversive site, FreeRepublic, in their office.

Sometimes, I am blocked from going to specific links within Fox News; typically, they have a “blog” somewhere in the address.

That would be a local proxy server policy. A local O6 or above can rectify it.

US Navy frees pirates and attacks the First Amendment.

Something wrong with this?

It starts with the Navy. They are after all, government employees. Next will be SEIU members at government departments. Next will be you and I. Another sign of government control that needs to be fixed. It starts with the elections in November.

The Fox News website is worthless unless you want to know what celebrities are up to. After you scroll past the top story it is like my kids TMZ TV show she watches.

What many think is a plot is probably a simple algorithm that has flagged Fox News for blocking. It may be close to impossible for the admins to even determine why it was blocked but I doubt highly that they did it on purpose.

Not sure how TV is streamed to Navy ships today, but broadcast on my ship back in the 1980s was from AFRTVs (Armed Forces radio and televisions. Is AFRTs still the media source today and if so how is the Navy able to block FOX? Looking for more detail on this story.

Oh and shipboard TV was no gem back in the 80s. News was read from a news wire by a chief Petty Officer, and the most popular program on the TV was reruns of Benny Hill.

They didn’t want the sailors to see LTC Lakin’s case discussed on BOR with Megan Kelly last night. It could be contagious???

The Community-Organizer-in-Chief has spoken. He’s worthless for guiding our forces in war, but he knows how to eviscerate that inconvenient First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America.
