Thought this might interest your list.
On the Science channel last night I watched a program that said our Milkyway Galaxy and the Andromeda Galaxy (our closest neighbor) are on a collision course. Someday these Galaxies will merge into one mess and the blackholes at the center of each would combine into one.
I guess I shouldn’t be worried about that anymore? Cool!
I’m reminded of the quote in A Brief History of Time. “You’re very clever, young man, very clever. But it’s turles all the way down.” :)
