The New York Times reported that it required 150 interagency meetings, including 30 by the National Security Council, to produce the new Nuclear Posture Review (NPR) and START follow-on treaty. Give the guys on the E-Ring credit for holding out as long as they did. In the end, however, the Defense Department was reduced to agreeing to the following extraordinary decisions:
c The United States will not design, produce or test any new nuclear weapons. This condemns the nation to relying for the indefinite future (Mr. Obama says for more than his lifetime, and he's a fairly young man) on an arsenal comprising bombs and warheads that are, on average, already about 30 years old. There is no getting around it: They are obsolescing, increasingly unsupportable and, in any event, designed primarily to destroy superhardened Soviet silos, not to perform the deterrent missions of today.

In addition, the new Obama nuclear "strategy" leaves it up to lawyers - including, apparently, those of the International Atomic Energy Agency (whose members include China, Russia and Iran) - whether the United States will be allowed to use nuclear retaliation if we are attacked with chemical weapons, deadly biological viruses or electric grid-cratering cyberwarfare. Like the rest of the president's denuclearization agenda, this exemplary act of restraint is supposed to dissuade the Iranian and North Korean regimes and other nuclear wannabes from thinking it important to have and wield "the Bomb." I honestly beleive there is going to be some kind of major, I repeat, MAJOR showdown between this monster of a man and someone who will stand up to his treachery.
We will not survive until 2012 if he goes unchecked.
More so than even Obamacare repeal, and that is a big ticket item, the 2010 should be a NATIONAL REFERENDUM on OBAMA and his TREASONOUS POLICIES.
If a Republican cannot commit to that approach in the primaries, or general, then tell them directly "SCREW YOU".
We have our big chance to get a Republican Senate and Congress, and then move towards adoption of Impeachment Acts by the House Judiciary Committee in 2011. By then there will be adequate material, including the nuclear deal, to bring The President before the Senate for Trial and Explusion in 2011 or 2012.

I totally agree with you on this. More than half of Congress and the Federal Reserve should be brought up on charges as well in my opinion. I wonder just how much longer we are going to put up this nonsense.

What I meant by that is, sadly, most of the people of this nation aren’t pissed off at all. I simply wonder what’s it gonna’ take?
