Prayers to the staffers for a full recovery. I'm puzzled by Jindal's spokesperson saying the victims were not wearing Palin buttons. Maybe those were stolen as well. Sounds like another episode of missing W buttons on the computer and the republican doesn't want to make a big stink about it. Shame on Jindal if he's trying to defuse the situation. People need to speak up!
The less said about Palin pin the better; IMHO. This in itself could take on a 'life of it's own; and not a pretty one. (Why make a Sarah pin, any more of a hate target?)
First and foremost; these people were targeted; as Republican; and taunted/baited, as well, no doubt; as victim who was vulnerable/attractive and blond and with male companion - for these mindless perps; an additional adrenaline pumping challenge. That is enough story. (That said, think going from confusion in story to 'stolen Palin pins' a hasty leap of judgment!)
Jindal no doubt, IS left to diffuse rhetoric until coherent facts assembled. These venomous people are dangerous. No reason to give them more 'target' Sarah or otherwise - when being Republican is more than enough.
