Da*n! Pataki is a good guy but I am not sure if he could get the backing for POTUS. NY GOP needs to get someone who can beat Gillibrand - no Rudy.
I am not that familar with Pataki. What else do you know about him? How are his communication skills? Is he reliably conservative?
A conservative governor of a fairly large state, with a successful record and the ability to communicate is just what the GOP needs.
