I read an article in the 1980’s that Specter somehow enable those involved with the JFK assassination for some reason that has always stuck with me and whenever I read about him doing devious thing that article comes to mind.

Fearing that Republican voters would throw him out of the Senate in the 2010 election, Specter made a strategic decision to renounce the Republicans and switch to the Democratic Party to try and stay in the Senate."Arlen, old pal, when it comes time to vote you better read the cue cards
correctly. You vote wrong, pal, and it could get real ugly. Rahm and Reid
might even get out the whip."

Just think 6 years ago Toomey could have beat Spector in the primary and George W Bush and Karl Rove went up to save Spector’s a$$

I see Graham pulling an Arlene Specter soon, so as to give him & the Dems the biggest bang for the dirty deal.
When Graham was caught leaving a a secret meeting with Dem Daschle's staff a few years ago he said, "Republican by day. Democrat by night." He'll finally just quit his day job.

But even though he was always a maverick and frequently at odds with numerous Republican positions, Specter never gave any indication that he might bolt from the party and ally himself with the Obama administration. Please. Only a fool would have been surprised about that.

Yup! Specter is really despicable. What gets me is that he is eighty years old. He must be financially secure. Why would he ruin his already shakey reputaion by pulling a sleazy stunt like becoming a Democrat in the administration of a community organizer? Now he goes down in history as a low life and an unprincipled turncoat. Talk about hubris.

Possibly the Dulles clan called their marker on his Warren Commission work that covered their misdeeds!

Believe it or not, bullying a woman on TV and insulting a Polish American constituency (as a senator from Pennsylvania of all places) aren’t the stupidest things Specter has done.
How about the time he stood in front of an audience and told them that they had no right to demand to know what was in the “health reform” bill. Even more stupid than that was the confused look on his face over the ensuing uproar.

Toe sucking Dick Morris ragging on Specter for treason is disgusting and ironic at the same time.
