I had a conversation in my apartment complex while laying out by the pool regarding collectivism with several 50 and 20 something liberals who were are self proclaimed socialists.
I explained that the same government that ‘pays’ for your health care and provides adequate housing can also limit the amount of time spent sunbathing by the pool in the name of ‘public health concern’ while controlling the thermostat in their apartment in the name of ‘conservation’.
Many were in denial and said that the government would NEVER limit choices.
I told them the government already is limiting choices.
