I didn’t stay to hear Newt, but J.C. Watts gave the best speech of his life. It was wonderful, and something that we as conservatives should hear everyday!

You know who would be a fantastic VP choice for Palin?

Gingrich!

Liberals heads will explode. He knows the Congressional machinery inside and out. He’s the ultimate attack dog. He’ll chew up Biden in the debate and spit him out. And he is qualified to be President and might just be a great one if he has to serve . . .

At least Gingrich is a conservative who is articulent, coherent, and experienced with the workings of government. He’ll always have that going for him

Love the Newt. Would work, contribute and vote for him.

Maybe not electable, though. Thought to be TOO Conservative by those on the Left, and of course, his Global Warming gaff and marital problems make him persona non grata here.

Gingrich has been too willing to get along with Leftists ever since Clinton played him in 1995 by shutting the government down. And that was multiplied when Clinton was impeached and Newt didn’t speak out — because he had a “Monica” type problem of his own.

Newt is articulate and informed when he talks principles and history. Otherwise, he is untrustworthy - and he ought NEVER to “lead” officially again. Period.

In [New Orleans], Gingrich rallies troops

For what? Sandbagging the levies so the city don't flood when the waters rise due to global warming?
