hey, it takes time to “reinvent” the national defense strategy, and this guy only has two speeds; “reinvent stuff”, and “blame george bush”.

And also, that whole US Constitution "is a completely unrealistic requirement."
To: Saint X
Ignoring the law because it is not convenient to follow them.
This actually does not surprise me from this regime. We have to understand that there is a greater good at stake that cannot be jeapordized by such silly things as laws. Now get back to work serf!

When you don’t put your energy to keeping this country strong, it’s hard to get motivated to write a “national defense strategy” document that will pass the smell test.

From the article:
"National security strategy is a big deal, and when an administration can't even get most of its senior officials confirmed within 150 days, I want to know how the hell you're going to figure out how you're going to manage strategy in 150 days," Gates said.
Hey, Mr Secretary, wasn't that one of the reasons they kept you around?
To: Saint X
Well, that’s facinating, Mr. Gates!!! Please explain how it is that the previous four administrations didn’t seem to have any problem performing this function????? Dumass!

Image how late the report would be if Zero hadn’t spent a couple of months in the Office of the President Elect.

The original policy points as drafted by Axelrod and Emmanuel probably looked something like this:
- Bow to all foreign leaders as a display of United States humility
- Apologize for American crimes at various international speeches
- Incrementally disarm the United States
- Put all jihadists and enemies of the U.S., created by George Bush, on notice that the United States does not view them through the outdated and neo-con lens of "radicalism"
- Deny funds to the U.S. military
- Delay any important military decisions under the guise of working on a serious and comprehensive "forward looking" plan.
- Incrementally take over the U.S. economy to control the electorate
- Cut all ties and aid for Israel. Deny visas to Israeli scientists. Support lawfare against Israel.
All these ideas seemed like good ones to the 0bama team, but releasing these as a formal "defense" policy was a hard sell even for a marxist regime.
