“Rebellion is brewing”

All of the above came about because of the TOLERANCE good Americans have shown. Political correctness has permeated our culture and the result is an abdication of patriotism, moral values and duty to our country. There is a tsunami brewing. A spirit led movement that will reclaim our destiny. Rebellion is brewing? YOU BETCHA!!!

Sorry ... no.

Angst is building, true enough. But a rebellion? I don’t think so.

There are people out there with 10,000 rounds of ammunition stored, but none of that matters if the FIRST round isn’t fired. And it won’t be. We’re too polite, too forgiving of differences and too law-abiding to actually shoot somebody. Nope.

For generations we’ve ignored politics and “let somebody else do that” while we work at our jobs, raise our families and pay our bills. Hell, we don’t even follow the affairs of the local school committee, while they allow our kids to graduate high school as functional illiterates with no knowledge of history or simple arithmetic but deep-seated feelings about the environment and global warming. Oh, and socialist beliefs, too.

Without our supervision, our “leaders” have been screwing us, wholesale. We give up HALF of what we earn in taxes, at least, but nobody says a thing. We just gripe about “those politicians raising our taxes again” and keep writing checks. The CHURCH ITSELF only asks for 10 percent but we pay five times that much to various forms of government without any complaint ... and it’s not nearly enough!

Speaking of the church, we’re humiliated and sneered at for saying “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Easter” but it’s no big deal. Like smokers, “religious nuts” are a free-fire zone for insults.

Even our sacred Constitution, the very foundation of our country, is ignored to the point where one can legitimately ask if it’s still in effect. Is it? Do we still have a Constitution and our rights that are guaranteed under ...

Oh, wait! Hold the phone! Baseball season just started and the Red Sox are playing in a few minutes! Sorry ... gotta go.

Good luck with that “rebellion” thing, Jim. I’ll be watching the network news to see if they mention anything about it. But I promise to support it. Really! /sarc

God save us all.

I feel like I've paid my money, given my ticket to the nice man, and strapped into a roller coaster, and it's slowly cranking up that first big rise. There will be a pause and then it gets very interesting indeed.

The smart Dems know it's coming and that's why their media have been attempting to marginalize the Tea Parties as racist, ignorant, the usual litany of liberal accusation. And why not? It used to work.

Not this time. The price the media are paying for their disgusting glut of partisan screeching in 2008 is that their control levers don't work anymore. You can smell the fear. There is even, on the part of those who suspect what it means, a belated attempt to pretend to be even-handed once again. Nobody's buying, and that's what is frightening them. The Tea Parties aren't crumbling under the weight of patrician disdain, and the patricians aren't very happy about it.

This isn't going to stop in November, whatever repudiation the Dems face. We're looking at 2012, and by then the daily headline in the NY Times will be "YOU RACISTS!", not that it will matter in the least. They're hoping that 0bama in '12 will be a repeat of Clinton in '96. They'll lie, cheat, steal, smear, and scream to effect it. That's where the battle will be.

It reminds me of a warmup to Chapter 28 in Atlas Shrugged

“Oh, wait! Hold the phone! Baseball season just started and the Red Sox are playing in a few minutes! Sorry ... gotta go.”

Or American Idol, or the Soapies, or - - - so many things that keep us distracted from what the termites are doing in our government.

I’m afraid there’s too much truth in what you are saying. I know too many people who are against the Obama administration but are so desirous of being “taken care of” by the government that they immediately go on the public dole, at the first opportunity, like being unemployed, like the almost half of Americans mentioned in other articles here, who pay no income tax but receive money from them who do.

I’m afraid we’re being sucked into that black vortex called government dependency, and then where is you revolution?

At this point, I’m wondering what’s going to happen if all the bums aren’t voted out in November.

Well 2/3 of the bums in the Senate are not even up for election. There are only 18 Dems and a couple of RINOs up in November so 80% of the bums are guaranteed to survive. And thanks to my state either a Progressive RINO bum or a mob banker socialist will be taking the place of Obama in the senate. The house might swing wildly but there isn't much hope of overwhelming the RINO-Dem spending Axis of Weasels in the Senate until 2012. But we can get a good start in November and then finish them off along with Obama in 2012.

I was just thinking it would be nice to have a list of all the daily outrages “the regime” has brought us. I see it’s only taken 17 of them to break the camel’s back. Nice work!
