I remember when Arianna first came on the scene, her husband Michael was running for Senator in the state of California as a republican. What I remember of that failed campaign is Arianna, she made some of the best conservative speeches that you have ever heard. Many of us said he should step aside and let her run because he seemed very weak.

He was defeated, admitted he was gay, left Arianna and the kids and we have never heard from him again, as far as I know. Next thing you know Arianna has gone left wing loon. If any of you had heard her back then you would be as baffled as me as how such a change happens to a person. Maybe a conservative husband being a closet gay had something to do with it.

I remember when Arianna was conservative, my dad loved her. I was so confused when I heard about the Huffington Post, I thought it was a mistake.

Arianna used to be very impressive, one of those you would stop what you were doing to listen to. She was even a big fan of Newt Gingrich.

After her life fell apart, it seems as though she kind of lost her mind. She really turned on a dime and hasn’t quit bashing Republicans since. She’s very tedious now.

Arianna probably married Micheal Huffington for $$$$---he has a ton of it!

What I remember from his senate campaign is that she caused him some bad publicity for being involved with a controversial religious sect --or something. She definitely hurt his campaign...makes me wonder if it was intentional.

Then she set herself up...with his money.

She's a hypocrit.

Most people in politics are phonies. They say what they have to say in order to gain power and influence.

“These men (government officials), in point of fact, are seldom if ever moved by anything rationally describable as public spirit; there is actually no more public spirit among them than among so many burglars or street-walkers.”
~ H. L. Mencken
