Definitely felt it here in Palm Springs. No damage, but sure lasted longer than other quakes.

Yes, S.Ca will be feeling them for a week or more. My concern is that the Geyser quakes are related to this big one. Already a smaller one further north along the san andreas.

Wind still blowing pretty good today though.

Yes it is .. and the San Andreas has been very, very busy lately as people can see on some of the reports here.

I think it is fascinating that you were already outside when it occurred and that you felt NOTHING. Thanks for checking into the quake thread & posting, I was curious how you were.

Good save...:-)

Told my wife and son to go out the front door, I was right behind them. Went and held on to the big screen...we all have our priorities...

I wonder with how bad building codes are south of the border, how much damage there will be there.

They don't have the Big Government interference in their construction we have here in the USA.

Felt it pretty strongly here, too. Cat ran under the bed. I just lay down to have a nap .... so much for that.

My mom in the SF Valley did not feel it. I’m glad she didn’t.

3.4 Sympathy quake just west of Julian, too. We’ll be shaking all along the unlocked sections of the San Andreas and nearby faults for a while now.

The restaurants in the mall are open. It’s probably in the office buildings.
